Amazing transport system

Tandag City has no public bus service or taxi.

 

To get around town people use the abundant and readily available Tricycle.  The fare of 8.00 Pesos ( about 20 cent) get you  just about anywhere , wether you travel alone or in company.

A good balance is required

 

Outlying villages are serviced with the

Habal Habal

 

Basically  a 2 wheel Motorcycle with some attachments on the side.

Capacity max 12 adults + children. Live pigs or chicken in a basket can also be taken along.

A ride to the last point takes about 2 hours, the fare would be 40 Pesos (About $ 1.00)

No fixed schedule. Departure whenever a sufficient number of passenger has accumulated.
